    Answer: No, we accept copies of the original as well. You can post your documents to Akademikernas a-kassa, Box 3536, 103 69 Stockholm or e-mail them to info@aea.se

  • What is the difference between ‘Anställningsbevis’ and ‘Arbetsgivarintyg’?

    Answer: ‘Anställningsbevis’ is an employment contract, where your employer states how and during what time you are employed. ‘Arbetsgivarintyg’ is a work certificate from your employer, where your employer states the details of your previous job, for example how much you have worked and earned.

  • I am sick. How do I fill this in on the ‘kassakort’?

    Answer: If you are sick you should tick the box in the middle of the ‘kassakort’ under ‘Sjuk/FP’. These are divided into the amount of time you are prevented from working. 1/1 which means you are prevented for 8 hours. (¾ or 6 hours. ½ or 4 hours. 1/8 or 1 hour.)

  • I started my new full-time employment in the middle of a week. How do I fill this in on the ‘kassakort’?

    Answer: If you started working full-time for example on a Wednesday, you should tick the box ‘Arbetslös’ Monday and Tuesday, 8 hours of work on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and ‘Arbetslös’ Saturday and Sunday.

  • I am home with a sick child. How do I fill this in on the ‘kassakort’?

    Answer: If you are home with a sick child or on parental leave you should tick the box in the middle of the ‘kassakort’ under ‘Sjuk/föräldrapenning’. These are divided into the amount of time you are prevented from working. 1/1 or 8 hours. ¾ 6 hours. ½ 4 hours. 1/8 or 1 hour.
